Full-Time Opening for the Financial Advisor Position:
To join Matthew J. Syverson, CFP® in the delivery and implementation of comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services to our valued clients as we expand the size of the Firm over time.
 
Duties of the Financial Advisor:
• Market for new business and generate Firm revenue to support your position and achieve growth targets
Analyze and construct financial plans as you shepherd clients through Annual Planning Relationships
Analyze, research and implement investment arrangements
Implement the planning recommendations and follow up on client needs in a timely manner
Attend professional development conferences and meetings to enhance your capabilities
Create and present monthly educational webinars as well as public speaking events
Be active in the civic and professional community
Conduct administrative tasks as needed, including: copying, filing, organizing, scanning, scheduling, etc.
 
Semi-Monthly Compensation with Two Payment Choices and Year-End Profit Sharing:
Option 1 = Draw with a competitive percentage payout for production
• Option 2 = Base Salary with a lower percentage payout for production
Year-end discretionary profit sharing if the company achieves more than 10% net profit. This may take the form of a combination of 401k plan contributions and/or cash bonuses after December 31st.

Benefit Offerings:
Safe Harbor 401k Retirement Plan with Employer Match after 1 year of service.
40 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) upon hiring with accrual of additional 40 hours during the year (vested in PTO after 1 year of service).
• Group Health and Dental Insurance (employee premiums are paid by the company), Flexible Spending Account and Employee Assistance Program are available after successfully passing the 90-day introductory period.
• Group Disability Income Insurance offered at advisor’s expense.
• The Firm pays for all required fees to provide office space, supplies, professional development, etc.
 
Qualifications of a Syverson & Company, LLC Financial Advisor:
Bachelor’s degree and successful of passing of various background checks
• Proof of good standing with the CFP® Board and able to use the CFP® mark (3 years of experience)
• Become a member NAPFA and FPA within the 90 day introductory period
Become a Qualified Kingdom Advisor within the first year of service
Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to emotionally and financially sustain a three year commitment
Team player - able to coordinate services with staff and embody the faith-based culture of the Firm
Accomplished oral and written skills and willingness to teach in a group session
Adhere to all compliance procedures and continuing education requirements
Complete the Biblical Financial Study from Crown Financial Ministries and Financial Peace University
Demonstrate character, competence and compassion with clients and employees as you share financial advice, while continually gaining an understanding of Kingdom Advisor principles
